Amsterdam, 27 November 2025 – With just days to go until the European Digital Finance Conference (EDFC) opens its doors in Amsterdam, this year’s edition is already shaping up to be one of the strongest gatherings of banking leaders in Europe. More than 75% of all registered attendees currently come from banks, underscoring the event’s growing reputation as the most bank-centric digital finance forum on the continent.
Over 40 banks have confirmed their participation, including several sending large delegations of ten or more people. The major Dutch banks—ABN AMRO, ING, and Rabobank—will be particularly well represented, as will Všeobecná úverová Banka (part of Intesa Sanpaolo Slovakia), which is attending with a sizeable team.

The 2025 agenda brings together senior leaders across strategy, innovation, digital transformation, lending, financial crime, AI, platforms, and digital assets. Sessions will explore how institutions are modernising their operating models, deploying advanced data capabilities, building new revenue platforms, and adapting to the accelerating pace of technological change.
Speakers from leading banks, fintechs, cloud platforms, and technology providers will offer practical insights, case studies, and frameworks that attendees can take back to their organisations.
Unlike many industry events where vendors dominate, EDFC maintains a carefully balanced audience. The strong presence of banks—combined with high-quality content and a collaborative environment—has contributed to the conference’s growing reputation among both financial institutions and solution providers.
