Merijn Oltshoorn currently serves as Project Lead Generative AI at ING (since April 2024), focusing on strategic tooling innovation for ING's wholesale bank Financial Crime Prevention. Previously, he was Head of Commercial/CCO for ING's innovation venture team (2022-2024), where he played a key role in developing and commercializing Blacksmith RegTech, a KYC policy digitalization tool that was successfully spun off to Encompass Corporation in December 2023.

His track record at ING includes leading Customer Success & Marketing for CoorpID RegTech (2020-2022), a solution for secure KYC information exchange between corporations and banks. Before joining ING, Oltshoorn spent four years at Accenture Strategy Consulting, where he led the Amsterdam 'Client Value Lab' and worked on innovation projects for technology companies. He holds an MSc in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology, with a specialization in User Interaction Design.
