Ulrich Loof began his career in 1997, after studying business administration, at a cooperative auditing and consulting association. His career path then led him to DG BANK, a predecessor of DZ BANK, where he worked as a strategy consultant for electronic banking. He was involved in the spin-off of DZ BANK's payment department in 2003 as a sub-project manager and held several positions at Equens SE. He returned to DZ BANK in 2012. As Vice President in the Transaction Management department, Ulrich Loof is responsible for strategic issues. He is also deputy chairman of the Westhafen expert dialogue, a committee of banks, service providers and customers for payment topics.
